Leaves are dark green on top and are white on the bottom, persistent, narrow, pointed and 2 to 3 cm long. Known for its spicy scent. The strong aroma of the leaves makes it a favourite choice in culinary, medicinal or other preparations. Growing method: Sow seeds indoors 10 to 12 weeks before the last frost in light potting soil under artificial light. Lightly cover the seeds. A heating mat is recommended (21 to 24 c).
